Bands come, and bands go, but for over 30 years, THIEF has been the undisputed "7th best band in Covina." That designation did not come easily, nor is it easily maintained. Some people joke that there are only seven bands in Covina, but even if that were true, it merely reaffirms their standing.  
THIEF is a "classic rock" band. What that means is, they still play the same songs they all learned in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s when they played in "top 40" bands. In other words, yesterday's top 40 are today’s classics (please don’t call them "oldies" as it hurts our lead singer’s feelings). This makes it convenient for the band since they never have to learn anything new.  And remembering the lyrics to the 150 classic songs in their repertoire is not easy for people of their age.
THIEF has always strived to select and perform the songs you listened and danced to growing up.  Our goal is simple; to make you want to move and sing to the beat whether seated in your chair, or rockin’ out on the dance floor.  THIEF’s vocal harmonies add an element to each song not often heard, leading the band to be known as “The Wizards of Ahhhs.”  
Classic Rock with a touch of Motown, Top-40, Country and Oldies from the 70’s to the present, THIEF has reached out to audiences all over Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Mexico.
